Research Interests

I have been interested in the evolution and function of microalgal genomes, development and application of algal synthetic biology for value-added chemical production and environmental remediation. Selected experience includes: (1) Selection of industrial strain and characterization of value-added chemical (Chen et al 2021 J Ocean Limn; Lu et al 2015 Trends Plant Sci; Lu et al 2014 Plant J; Lu et al 2014 Biotech Biofuels); (2) Manipulation of crucial life processes and biosynthesis of value-added metabolites using synthetic biology and metabolic engineering technology (Lu et al 2021 Nature Comm; Lu et al 2021 Crit Rev Biotech; Wang et al 2021 Met Eng; Han et al 2020 Met Eng Comm; Cui et al 2014 Biotech Biofuels; Wang et al 2016 Plant J; Xin et al 2017 Mol Plant); (3) Strategy development for scalable production and environmental remediation by using synthetic microalgae (Lv et al 2021 Sci Total Env; Gan et al 2017 Adv Sci; Gan et al 2017 Algal Res).

个人简介

教授、博导。主持国家重点研发计划国际合作重点项目、国家重点研发计划合成生物学重点专项课题、国家十三五海洋经济创新发展重点项目、国家知识产权局运营服务体系建设专项、基金委、中国科学院重点部署项目等;

作为第一导师指导国家级大学生创新创业训练计划项目、全国青年科普创新实验暨作品大赛三等奖、海南大学大学生创新创业项目(重点项目);

参与泰山学者创新团队项目、中国科学院对外合作重点项目(中国-荷兰)、国家自然科学基金重大国际合作项目(中国-美国)、中国科学院太阳能行动计划、美国能源部基础能源科学项目等。

出版专著1部,参编2部,以第一作者或通讯作者发表SCI收录论文30余篇;申请中国发明专利36项,PCT国际专利5项。入选南海名家青年育才计划(首届;中期考核优秀)、泰山学者创新团队骨干成员。
